Expert Security Consulting Services for Family Court of Australia

At Connley Walker, we are proud to have provided comprehensive security consulting services to the Family Court of Australia. Our team was tasked with conducting a thorough review of security supplier tender submissions, as well as developing CCTV standards and reviewing access control systems across all Family Court buildings.

We also had the privilege of developing an options paper and business case for a standardised security system, in addition to conducting a security review of the weapons detection layout at the Brisbane court. Our team reviewed duress alarm requirements and radio system quotes, and designed a CCTV upgrade at the Sydney Family Court Registry.

We conducted a comprehensive risk assessment of the Macquarie Street, Sydney site, and provided security recommendations based on our findings. Our team also specified CCTV installations in dedicated courtrooms at major Family Law Court sites.

Furthermore, we provided a detailed security review of the Commonwealth Law Courts in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Parramatta, Canberra, Perth, Hobart, and Sydney. This included a security risk assessment, detailed design, tender evaluation, project management, and commissioning of the duress alarm system upgrade at the Sydney Court.

Our team also provided specifications for CCTV upgrades and tender reviews for the Parramatta Commonwealth Law Courts, and designed and commissioned security systems for the Lionel Bowen Building in Sydney. We conducted a security review of multiple sites, provided consultancy services in relation to X-Ray Machine and Metal Detector replacements, and conducted a security risk assessment and concept design for the fit-out of William Street, Sydney.

We provided design and project management services for CCTV at the Darwin site, and conducted a security risk assessment of the Sydney LBB Child Dispute Section. Additionally, we provided design, project management, and commissioning for the child dispute service of the Lionel Bowen Building, and conducted a security risk assessment of vehicle delivered explosives to the Melbourne Commonwealth Law Courts.

Our team designed the ground floor refurbishments for the Goulburn Sydney site, reviewed judges court door locking for the Lionel Bowen Building, and conducted a security review of Melbourne Child Dispute Services. We also reviewed the access control system at the Adelaide Commonwealth Law Courts, designed and commissioned the duress alarm system at the Brisbane Commonwealth Law Court, and conducted a security risk assessment and design for proposed works at the Dandenong Court Childcare area.

We designed CAD and specifications for the Darwin Family Court relocation, conducted a security risk assessment of the Alice Springs Registry relocation at the Westpoint Complex, and provided security risk assessments, specifications, and drawings for security works associated with the FCA Wollongong refurbishment.

Our team also reviewed the vehicle entry arrangements at the Melbourne and Sydney Commonwealth Law Court buildings, and conducted a security risk assessment of the Family Court Sydney – child dispute services. We designed the security system for the Family Court Sydney, conducted security risk assessments in relation to the proposed new fit-outs of the Melbourne and Cairns subpoena (document viewing) rooms, and conducted a security risk assessment of the Canberra Court.
