Previous Projects - Connley Walker Security Consulting Services: Medifarm

In our collaboration with Medifarm, Connley Walker embarked on a multifaceted approach to bolster security measures, ensuring compliance, and fortifying the overall security environment. Through a detailed consultation and site inspection, we gained insights into existing security challenges, potential issues, and the requisite compliance standards. Our meticulous examination covered physical security hardware and architecture, electronic security systems, and security processes.

Connley Walker provided the following security consulting services:

Consultation & Site Inspection:

Commencing our engagement, Connley Walker held consultations with Medifarm to comprehend the existing security landscape and identify potential issues and compliance requirements. A comprehensive site inspection followed, delving into the intricacies of physical security elements, electronic systems, and procedural aspects. This detailed assessment provided a foundation for tailoring security solutions to Medifarm’s specific needs.

Security Risk Assessment and Concept Design:

Aligned with the standards set by the Office of Drug Control (ODC) and the Australian Standard for Risk Management AS/NZS ISO 31000, Connley Walker conducted a meticulous security risk assessment. The assessment included a Concept Design outlining various security measures, their alignment with identified threats, and budget estimates. This phase aimed to provide a strategic overview of security options and associated costs for informed decision-making.

Detailed Design Security Specification and Drawings:

The Detailed Design phase involved crafting a comprehensive documentation package. This included a detailed design specification for electronic security, requirements for physical security feeding into architectural plans, electronic security specifications in AutoCAD format, and cost estimates or quotations as needed. Recommendations on supplier tender submissions were also part of this phase, ensuring a well-defined roadmap for implementation.

Site Security Plan and Procedures:

A Site Security Plan was meticulously developed, addressing compliance requirements and other essential elements. This comprehensive plan covered security management structures, policies, procedures, delineation of security zones, access control mechanisms, and security measures for each zone. Additionally, it detailed audit and incident reporting procedures, waste product disposal, and logistics aspects like supply, delivery, and transportation of products.

Consultancy Services During Construction:

Our commitment extended into the construction phase, offering consultancy services that encompassed the evaluation of tender submissions, responding to information requests, and making necessary design changes. Project management support for contractors was also provided, ensuring seamless integration of security measures into the construction process.

Commissioning / Defects Inspection:

As the project neared completion, Connley Walker undertook commissioning and defects inspection. This included thorough testing of all security elements, verification of compliance with the defined scope of works, review of contractor documentation and training, identification of defects, and assessment of workmanship quality. The outcomes were documented in a comprehensive commissioning report.

In collaboration with Medifarm, Connley Walker successfully implemented a holistic security solution, integrating tailored measures and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
