Previous Projects - Connley Walker Security Consulting Services: Minda

In collaboration with Minda, Connley Walker embarked on a multifaceted initiative aimed at fortifying security measures within the organisation. The comprehensive project spanned the development of a robust security framework, a meticulous security risk assessment, review and commentary on existing CCTV documentation, and the design of advanced CCTV systems, security control rooms, and ancillary security products.

Connley Walker provided the following security consulting services:

Development of a Security Framework:

A bespoke security framework was meticulously crafted, delineating how security is to be managed. This encompassed key policies, procedures, security standards, and a strategic five-year roadmap. The framework served as a foundational guide for effective security management within Minda.

Security Risk Assessment:

Aligning with the Australian Standard for Risk Management AS/NZS ISO 31000 and the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), Connley Walker conducted a comprehensive security risk assessment. This entailed the development of a nuanced security risk model tailored to the unique needs of the site, providing invaluable insights into potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.

Review of Existing CCTV Documentation:

An in-depth evaluation of existing CCTV documentation was undertaken, offering insightful commentary. This critical review ensured that the subsequent development of the security framework and risk assessment could be contextualised appropriately, enhancing the overall effectiveness of security measures.

Design of Comprehensive CCTV Systems:

The design of cutting-edge CCTV systems took center stage, commencing with a thorough site inspection. Connley Walker then crafted a Concept Design, presenting options and budget estimates. This visionary design incorporated advanced features such as facial recognition, geo-fencing, and intruder analytics. The detailed design phase included meticulous specifications and CAD drawings.

Design of Security Control Room:

A strategic approach to security control room design unfolded, starting with a comprehensive site inspection. Connley Walker developed a Concept Design, considering ergonomic and lighting factors. The subsequent detailed design phase involved the creation of precise specifications and CAD drawings, ensuring the optimal functionality of the security control room.

Design of Ancillary Security Products:

The project extended to the design of various ancillary security products, tailoring solutions to Minda’s specific requirements. This encompassed staff duress systems, radios with duress and alarm receipt capabilities, electronic key management systems, asset management systems, and incident management tools.

This collaborative effort with Minda exemplifies Connley Walker’s commitment to delivering holistic security solutions. The integration of a robust security framework, sophisticated risk assessment, cutting-edge CCTV systems, and specialised security products showcases Connley Walker’s expertise in elevating security standards.
