In collaboration with the NSW Office of The Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Connley Walker undertook a comprehensive review and subsequent update and development of security policies and procedures. Leveraging remote consultations, our team engaged key internal stakeholders through phone and Microsoft Teams meetings to assess existing security strategies. The outcome of this review informed a tailored brief report, highlighting organizational security requirements, identifying gaps, and offering recommendations for improvement. Subsequently, Connley Walker orchestrated consultations with the ODPP to review recommendations and determine additional requirements for the development of an encompassing security management plan. The resulting plan included a range of security elements, ensuring alignment with site-specific needs and client preferences.
Connley Walker provided the following security consulting services:
In adherence to the established methodology, Connley Walker conducted a thorough review of the existing security policies, procedures, and strategies for the ODPP. Remote consultations via phone and Microsoft Teams facilitated engagement with key internal stakeholders. The review culminated in a concise report delivered in PDF format, providing a comprehensive summary of organizational security requirements, addressing fundamental gaps, and presenting actionable recommendations for improvement. This process excluded cyber security policy, focusing on physical and procedural security aspects.
Building upon the insights gained from the initial review, Connley Walker orchestrated consultations with the ODPP to collaboratively update and develop comprehensive security policies and procedures. The resulting security management plan, tailored to the specific needs of ODPP sites, covered various crucial aspects. These included security management structure, policies and procedures, physical and electronic security details, audit and incident reporting mechanisms, as well as external authority collaborations. The updated security policy and procedures encompassed a diverse range of areas, including emergency and incident response, staff and lone worker procedures, access control, security risk assessments, and the handling of CCTV footage. The collaborative approach ensured that the final security policies and procedures were aligned with the ODPP’s unique requirements and operational landscape.
This engagement underscores Connley Walker’s commitment to fortifying the security posture of the NSW Office of The Director of Public Prosecutions, providing tailored solutions that meet the highest standards of organizational security.
