Previous Projects - Connley Walker Security Consulting Services: Royal Australian Air Force

In response to the Royal Australian Air Force’s imperative to fortify security at buildings in RAAF Amberley, Connley Walker undertook a comprehensive building security assessment. The overarching goal was to align the facility with security certification standards PSZ2 overall and PSZ3 for specific areas. The multifaceted review encompassed Physical Security, Electronic Security, and Acoustics, ensuring a holistic approach to security enhancement.

Connley Walker provided the following security consulting services:

Site Inspection and Evaluation:

A thorough site inspection served as the cornerstone of our engagement, allowing us to meticulously review the existing security measures and identify any potential constraints hindering the implementation of security protocols. Acoustic measurements were specifically taken within areas earmarked for Zone 3 certification, ensuring a nuanced understanding of acoustic considerations.

Collaboration with Architects and Consultants:

In instances where plans for upgrades had been developed, Connley Walker diligently reviewed these plans. Collaborative sessions were orchestrated, involving architects and building services consultants as necessary. This collaborative approach aimed to synergise expertise, ensuring that proposed upgrades aligned seamlessly with security objectives.

Security Measures Assessment:

Connley Walker, drawing on its proficiency in security assessments, meticulously evaluated both existing and planned security measures within the framework of Zone 2 and Zone 3 requirements. The outcome was a concise yet comprehensive report detailing our findings and presenting targeted recommendations. These recommendations were strategically formulated to address compliance requirements and rectify any identified security gaps, thereby fostering a more robust security infrastructure.

This collaborative endeavour with the Royal Australian Air Force exemplifies Connley Walker’s commitment to delivering tailored security solutions.
