Previous Projects - Connley Walker Security Consulting Services: Sisters of the Sacred Advent (SSA)

In collaboration with The Society of the Sacred Advent Schools, Connley Walker provided a range of tailored services specifically for St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School & St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School. The services rendered include a meticulous Security Risk Assessment, the development of a robust Security Framework, and the establishment of Technical Security Standards. Each facet of our engagement aimed to enhance the overall security posture, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Connley Walker provided the following security consulting services:

Security Risk Assessment:

Our approach commenced with an in-depth Security Risk Assessment, conducted in strict adherence to the Australian Standard for Risk Management AS/NZS ISO 31000. An initial consultation allowed us to grasp the nuances of the current security landscape, covering aspects such as existing policies, historical incidents, and specific threats unique to the school sites. A comprehensive site inspection, overseen by a local security technician in real-time collaboration with our principal consultant, ensured a thorough evaluation of physical and electronic security measures.

  • Risk Identification and Analysis: The risk assessment meticulously identified potential security threats, including crimes against people, property, and other criminal activities. A comprehensive analysis, considering existing risk controls, paved the way for informed decision-making.

  • Mitigation Measures: Cost-effective security risk mitigation measures were strategically recommended to address identified threats. These measures were designed to offer a robust response to potential risks and enhance overall security resilience.

Security Framework:

Building on the insights garnered from the Security Risk Assessment, Connley Walker crafted a bespoke Security Framework. This comprehensive document outlined the overarching security strategy, delineated key security policies and procedures, defined the security management structure, responsibilities, and delineated escalation measures in response to heightened security risks.

  • Framework Components: The Security Framework encompassed critical components such as security infrastructure requirements, policies, security management structure, guarding requirements (if applicable), security escalation protocols, and staff security responsibilities.

Security Standards:

Technical Security Standards were meticulously documented to establish clear specifications for the supply, installation, and acceptance testing of both physical and electronic security measures. These standards provided a robust foundation for issuing requests for works, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks.

Connley Walker’s collaborative approach with The Society of the Sacred Advent Schools exemplifies our commitment to delivering tailored security solutions.
